Scientific and Research Information - Analytical Centre
«LEX» Scientific and Research Information - Analytical Centre, Limited liability company (LEX means law in Latin) was established in 2004.
Since 2009 Scientific and Research Informational-Analytical Center «LEX» is a part of Interdepartmental Working Group concerning performance by the State authorities of Ukraine of obligations within the limits of the Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear Terrorism.
Since January, 2010 Centre «LEX» is a member World Institute for Nuclear Security (WINS) Vienna, Austria.
Our policy
The priority area of our activities is to promote creation of goods and services market in the field of nuclear security.
We aspire to creation of a point for gaining contacts and exchanging information convenient for developers, sellers and buyers of technical solutions, both domestically and on external markets.
We think that the integral part of this activity is to support organized and efficient discussion on the security between the experts in the field of state system and management, struggle against terrorism, arrangement and regulation of potentially hazardous technologic systems, social policy on territories adjacent to hazardous facilities, and public psychology.
We are guided by advanced experience and practice, and find important the goal of supplying to government authorities the objective, comprehensive and timely data required for their development of state policy in the field of assuring security in the nuclear and related industries.
Our objective is to develop mutually beneficial and harmonious relations between the members of nuclear community, state and public officials aimed at understanding of risks and benefits associated with peaceful use of nuclear energy.
We are open for cooperation with everyone who does not reject our principles.

«Lex» is after the Latin word meaning “law”.
The logo of Centre «LEX» represents as follows: the radiation danger sign, surrounded by physical barriers of black rectangles with controlled accesses, is placed against the olive background, which is the colour of peace, thus underlining the idea that physical nuclear security assures safe use of nuclear energy; the blue logo background portrays peaceful sky, security of population and clean environment; «Lex» (“law” in Latin) means the appropriate laws and regulatory provisions placed as basis for the efficient international and national systems of physical nuclear security.
